A podcast about Reddit stories I am binging…

I cannot remember which podcast I was listening to where I heard about Endless Thread. There is a new trend in podcast advertising where podcasts are reading ads about other podcasts and this is how I came across this one.

I listened to one episode from Dec 17, 2020 about the earliest use of the word mullet. After this single episode, I was hooked. I listened to. afew more recent episodes and I have now gone back and added the first 15 that I can from their feed into my favorite podcast playing app Overcast and started binging from the beginning.

This podcast pokes at something I like, similar to Underunderstood, where the hosts talk about the history behind a story. Where Underunderstood investigates topics from readers, Endless Thread talks about posts from Reddit.

Some of my favorite episodes are..

  • Mystery of the Mullet 12/17/2020
  • Niail Needs a Friend 11/19/2020
  • Today You, Tomorrow Me 11/12/2020
  • Pitch Perfect 3/29/2018
  • Still listening…

Where Underunderstood investigates things that would seemingly be impossible to find the facts and resolve the mystery, Endless Thread tells a story and interviews posters behind some of the most popular posts on Reddit.
